As AI develops, vocal artificial intelligences lack French speakers to train. This is why, in addition to the obsolescence of recordings, French companies will launch a campaign to collect votes.
"These are recordings that were made in the 70s," says Karel Bourgois, president of the Voice Lab association. To upgrade robots, this association, which brings together about thirty tech companies or universities, is launching a collection of votes using a tool. And to improve communication with robots, the association plans a regional tour with the CNRS to collect more mature voices or with accents.
