Up to 64,000 people who were in the police's application system may have had their personal data exposed after a hacker attack. "An outside actor has been able to access information about you," the police write in an email to the victims.
It was in April that a provider of the application system used by the police, Visma Recruit, was subjected to a data breach after a cyberattack. The incident has been reported to the police and reported to IMY, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.
