Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said that Russia's goal is to create a system of guarantees of "equal and indivisible security" The diplomat also emphasized that today Russian military personnel are skillfully performing the tasks assigned to them within the framework of the Northern Military District. Antonov made this statement during a reception organized by the Russian Embassy in the United States on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Russians on Defender ofTheFatherlandDay. Also, Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu congratulated military personnel.
