Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said his country's forces would launch their counteroffensive despite not receiving Western fighter jets. The commander of the Wagner forces announced that he would withdraw his forces from Bakhamout if Moscow did not solve the problem of ammunition shortage.

Ukraine's General Staff said its forces had repelled more than 60 Russian attacks on the Bakhamut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Lyman fronts. Russian Defense Ministry said it had managed to push Ukrainian forces towards the western part of the city of Pakhmut.
