A small building adjacent to a hotel has burned down in Språxhult outside Markaryd. The fire broke out a mile from another fire in Strömsnäsbruk.
The emergency services do not know how the fires started, but the police will investigate the cause of the fire. No person was injured in connection with the fire and extinguishing work will continue throughout the night, says Anders Johansson, rescue manager in MarkaryD. The fires have no connection to each other, say the emergency services.
