Anis Matta, head of the Wave Party (Glora), talks to Al Jazeera Net about his vision of the political phenomenon in Indonesia. Matta says that attempts at normalization between Israel and his country are underway, but they are rejected by the constitution.

He says that despite all the difficult circumstances that Indonesia and the whole world have gone through, we are able, God willing, to cross the electoral threshold. The election is expected to be the fiercest of the six electoral rounds that Indonesia has experienced since the democratic transition in 1998.
