State Duma deputy Anatoly Wasserman prepared a bill according to which Russians who keep cash in rubles and foreign currency in the amount of more than 1 million rubles must report this to the tax office, as well as explain the origin of the funds. According to the bill, confiscation of funds will be provided for the storage of this amount without notifying the tax authorities.
In addition, according to the document, the citizen will be fined twice the amount to be stored in this way.
