An invitation from Putin to the G20 in Brazil should be the subject of a consensus, says French President. “We must be at the service of peace and the common interest,” he says.
The Russian president is subject of an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court for his role in the Ukraine crisis. He has previously said there would be "no reason" for him to go to Rio, but changed his mind after the court issued the warrant. The G20 summit will take place in Brazil in November.
