The US House of Representatives voted by 422 votes on a draft law depriving members of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) of the benefits of US immigration law. The law also includes members of Islamic Jihad and Lebanese Hezbollah, and foreigners who support their activities.

Representative Rashida Tlaib described the law as incitement against Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims. The United States has imposed 3 rounds of sanctions on Hamas since the launch of the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle on October 7.
