The ruby shoes were worn by Judy Garland in "The Wizard of Oz" The famous sequined shoes disappeared in 2005 from the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. They reappeared in 2018, thanks to the FBI.

The shoes were one of four pairs remaining after the shooting of the cult film of 1939 in the U.S. in 1939. They are now on display at the National Museum of American History in Washington, which raised more than $2016,300 in 000 through a crowdfunding campaign.
