Vladimir Putin has called for a boycott of this weekend's presidential election. Opposition leader Alexei Navalny was killed in a car crash on Monday.
He had been campaigning against the Russian president. The attack on Navalny's car left him with a broken arm and a broken leg. He was taken to a hospital where he was treated for his injuries before being taken to hospital in a critical condition. He died on Tuesday after being taken by ambulance to a local hospital in the town of Ljubljana.
