Al-Sisi renews the warning against the Rafah invasion and confirms Egypt’s efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza. He also stressed that the ceasefire would allow residents of the center and south to move towards the north.
This is the second time this week that the Egyptian President has warned publicly and directly of the dangers of invading the Palestinian city of Rafah. Egypt, Qatar, and the United States are leading mediation efforts to stop the devastating Israeli war on the Gaza Strip since last October 7.
