The US Air Force attacked Houthi positions in Yemen on Sunday night. It was the second strike against pro-Iranian militias within 24 hours.
The declared goal of the USA and its allies: to secure maritime trade and to weaken the Houthis militarily. The militias act as allies of the terrorist organization Hamas, which is fighting in the Gaza Strip against the army of US ally Israel. Since the beginning of the Gaza war almost four months ago, Houthis in Yemen have repeatedly targeted merchant ships with alleged Israeli connections.
