AfD politician loses committee chairmanship in Saxony. Ulrich Siegmund took part in the Potsdam meeting of the extreme right.

Now the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt is drawing conclusions and withdrawing the AfD politician's chairmanship of the social committee. 71 members of parliament in Magdeburg voted for the recall. There were 21 negative votes. Siegmund may not be appointed committee chairman again by his parliamentary group in this legislative period. He explained that he saw no reason at all to vacate his position as chairman.
