Sudanese activists circulated video footage that they said belonged to raids carried out by members of the Rapid Support Forces on the homes of symbols, political leaders and citizens in Sudan. On Sunday, the Rapidsupport Forces stormed the house of the late head of the National Umma Party, Imam Sadiq al-Mahdi, in the city of Omdurman.

They released a video from inside the house in which they claimed the presence of snipers and weapons inside the home. The Ansar Affairs Commission, the religious arm of the Umma party, criticized what it considered "the entry of the rebel militia into the house"
