Environmentalists perched in trees against the motorway project between Toulouse and Castres came down on Sunday March 24. Three others settled in the trees in front of the CEDH this Monday.
They denounce in particular the violence suffered by environmental activists during such actions. At the beginning of March, the ECHR rejected an appeal filed against the French state by opponents of the A69 motorway, who were protesting against the methods used by the police to dislodge them from trees in the Tarn.
