A woman of about 70 years has died this afternoon when she was run over by a Metrovalencia train at València Sud station. Sources of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat (FGV) have reported that the accident occurred around 18:30 p.m.
and that the first investigations point to a suicide. The victim died instantly as a result of the strong impact, the sources have indicated. The woman fell onto the tracks and was runover by a Line 7 train, which runs from Torrent-Avinguda to Marítim-Serrería.
