South Kordofan State, southern Sudan, is witnessing a massive wave of displacement as a result of clashes. The clashes broke out between the Sudanese army and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement.

About 204 families, the majority of whom were previously displaced from the city of Kadugli, were forced to flee in search of shelter in villages across the eastern countryside locality. The international organization indicated that the situation is still tense and it is impossible to predict what will happen in the coming days.
