A technological incident occurred at a metallurgical plant in Cherepovets. The General Director of the Severstal Russian Steel division, Evgeny Vinogradov, announced the incident.
According to him, a bang was heard from the direction of the industrial site. “There are no casualties. One of the units was taken out for previously planned repairs,” he wrote on social network VKontakte. Earlier it became known about the plant of the German company Lanxess in British Manchester, where a chemical leak occurred.
