Governor of the Orenburg region Denis Pasler announced the introduction of a state of emergency in the region due to flooding. The governor emphasized that this step was necessary to quickly carry out measures to pass the flood and to minimize possible damage to residents and infrastructure.
The head of the region also noted the need to focus all resources to organize emergency rescue operations and preventively evacuate residents from dangerous areas. Earlier it was reported that a state. of emergency was introduced in the Altai Territory due to the situation with spring floods.
