A resident of Yerevan was given a preventive measure for desecrating a monument to siege survivors. Samvel Shirinyan was previously found to be inciting Russophobia.

He staged a pogrom near the monument to the children of besieged Leningrad. The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, then ordered the opening of a criminal case against Shirinyans. The Investigative Committee chose a “ban on absence” as a preventive measures against him.
