Authorities of the Belgorod region said that a number of electronic services of the regional government were attacked. According to the Minister of Digital Development of the region, Sergei Chetverikov, hackers are distributing fake alerts.
It was previously reported that hackers carried out more than 600 million DDoS attacks on the State Services portal in 2023. The minister urged to trust only verified sources of information. The attack occurred on an electronic document management service, in which a fake emergency alert was distributed allegedly on behalf of the governor.
