A nine-year-old boy fell into an open sewer manhole in the Kaluga region. The injured child was rescued by emergency services officers who arrived on call.
The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed a report on the inspection and the circumstances established. Earlier it was reported that in Brazil, a seven- year-old child fell into a manhole and traveled 300 m through a pipe. The Investigative Committee of Russia has organized a procedural investigation into this fact.
