A video that was widely circulated in Tunisia sparked a wave of anger on social media platforms, documenting the moment a mother assaulted a teacher inside the classroom. Local Tunisian media confirmed that the mother who assaulted the teacher at the Al-Munji Slim primary school in Sbikha, in the Tunisian state of Kairouan, was arrested.
Security research showed that the assailant mother was sentenced to 6 months in prison with postponed execution in a similar assault incident. Some activists on the “X” platform explained what the mother did, that it was due to psychological disorders she may suffer from.
