A criminal case has been opened on the fact of blowing up the car in which the writer Zakhar Prilepin and his family were, the Investigative Committee of Russia reports. On the afternoon of May 6, reports appeared on Telegram channels that ZakharPrilepin's car had been blown up in Nizhny Novgorod.

Medical workers reported that the writer was hospitalized with a leg wound. According to TASS, the man was injured. RIA Novosti reported the writer's car was blown up on the highway, his driver died.
