A criminal case was opened after an attack on police officers in the Moscow region. One officer was killed and one was injured, the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region reported.
A team of investigators and forensic scientists is working at the scene. Earlier it was reported that unknown persons attacked police officers and fled on motorcycles, one officer was dead and another was injured. The incident occurred on April 7 in the working-class village of Fryanovo, the department said.
