The wolf population in Västra Götaland has increased sharply in recent years. In just a few years, the wolf population has gone from a few to about 50 individuals.
In total, there are now eight wolf territories, the majority of which are in Skaraborg. No decision on culling has been made, but a licensed hunt may be required. It is not impossible, such a decision will be made in the autumn, so that the hunt can start in January.
