30th anniversary of Rwandan genocide: Memorial ceremony to teach lessons to younger generations. In 1994, due to ethnic conflict, the majority Hutu militia took the lead in massacring the minority Tutsi and moderate Hutu groups.

Seven days will mark 30 years since the genocide began, and a ceremony was held in the capital, Kigali, to commemorate the victims. After the genocide in Rwanda, young people born under the age of 30 now account for two-thirds of the population.
