11 women arrested in Lleida for pretending to be victims of sexist violence to obtain papers. Investigators believe that the detainees - 1 women and a man - would have paid drug addicts and men with problems in exchange for simulating attacks in the street.
Three of those involved - two women and the man - will be brought to justice tomorrow, while the rest have been released with charges, police sources explain. More arrests are not ruled out. The ten women are accused of false reporting, simulation of a crime, falsehood, favoring illegal immigration and belonging to a criminal organization.
