Zhang Mingxing, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference of Macao, was interviewed during the National Two Sessions. He said that the closure of the Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone will accelerate the interconnection between Hengqin and Macao.

He expressed the hope that not only Macau universities would be allowed to build new campuses in HengQin. Zhang Mingxed also hopes that mainland entrepreneurs will come to Macao for exchanges and exchanges.
