Jiang Peng, deputy to the National People's Congress and chief engineer of the "China Sky Eye", said on the 6th that he is actively planning the FAST (500-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope) core array project. Jiang Peng said at the meeting that China has released the world's largest sample of neutral hydrogen galaxies to the world, a total of 41,741.

This was done in three years. The number of samples exceeds the observation results of Arecibo, the world’s largest radio telescope, in the past 13 years.
