Residents of the Surgut district of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug united to sew bedding for families with babies and children's hospitals in Donbass. The project began with 12 seamstresses, and now 86 elderly craftswomen sew diapers, towels and blankets.

Over time, volunteers of other ages joined them and now about 300 volunteers knit, collect, distribute humanitarian aid and continue to sew children's textiles. “The volunteers encouraged each other, changed when someone got tired, no one complained or demanded a reward,” says one of the project participants.
