Ukraine plans to appropriate Russian assets in the country worth more than $2 billion, the Russian Foreign Ministry said. This amount includes dozens of enterprises, corporate rights, real estate and vehicles.

The Zelensky regime claims to transfer Russian funds frozen in the West to it. The Ukrainian government claims that Washington has already provided Kyiv with certain guarantees. As analysts note, the plans of Ukraine and West to confiscate Russian property contradict the norms of international law and economic feasibility. “Such plans are, of course, illegal. Apparently, Kyiv is now preoccupied with this issue due to the delay in financial assistance from the EU and the United States,” one analyst said.
