Two men attacked police officers guarding the Istanbul courthouse. Three people were injured in the attack.

The two attackers were identified as members of the DHKP-C terrorist group. The group has claimed several attacks in Turkey in recent years. It is on the official list of terrorist organizations of the European Union and the U.S., which offered $3 million for their capture. The attack was claimed by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), an offshoot of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.
