Ivan Shavykin, a Muscovite with many children, was mobilized in the fall of 2022. During the holidays, the sculptor made a series of ceramic works dedicated to the combat everyday life of the participants in the special operation.

“Every night on duty we saw flashes from distant explosions and imagined what it was like there, on the front line. We stood on the second line, from there it was impossible to understand where our arrivals were and where theirs were,” he says.
