The Dutch government is deploying great measures to retain its multinationals. The manufacturer of semiconductor equipment, ASML, unveiled a massive investment plan.

The plan called “Operation Beethoven” is allocated 2 and a half billion euros. Investments must mainly focus on one region: the east of the Netherlands and the city of Eindhoven. This is where Europe's largest technology company, AS ML, has set up its huge complex where it employs more than 20,000 people.
