A total of 6,820 border control observation posts and other facilities were confirmed near the newly erected fences, an increase of 20 times compared to 2019. On average, fences are placed at one location every 110 meters, and soldiers guarding the border are instructed to open fire as soon as they see anyone approaching the border.
