The metropolis of Lyon will implement, by 2025, progressive rates based on water consumption. The system, set up for 18 months, notably with user groups, intends to support the population towards greater sobriety.
“One of our objectives is to consume 15% less water by 2035. So, we want to support residents in their Sobriety", says Bruno Bernard, environmentalist president of the Lyon metropolis. The price will be increased by 15% for the largest consumers of water. Everything will apply from 2025.
