State Duma has prepared a draft on a complete ban on advertising from foreign agents in Russia. Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin called unacceptable the situation in which foreign agents acting in the interests of unfriendly states continue to make money from Russian citizens.
According to him, it is proposed to prohibit domestic companies from placing advertisements on the websites of foreign agents. The corresponding bill has already been prepared and is being approved. Currently, there are 764 people and organizations on the register of foreign agent.
