The Russian Ministry of Defense published footage of the combat use of the Giatsint-B towed howitzer in the Zaporozhye region. The gun fires high-explosive fragmentation shells of 152 mm caliber at a range of 20 km or more.
In the Northern Military District zone the cannon is used for counter-battery combat, destruction of fortifications and destruction of military equipment. The competent work of the crews of the 152-mm cannons allows them to inflict heavy losses on the enemy and facilitates the advancement of the assault units.
