Rosa Peral was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder of her partner Pedro Rodríguez. Pedro's body was found inside a charred car near the Foix Reservoir on May 2, 2017.
In its verdict, the jury considered that "between March and April 2017 there was a new and gradual approach, emotional first, and sentimental later, between Rosa Peral and Albert López" The two came "to the conclusion that the victim, for various reasons, hindered their relationship" and so they drew up a plan to kill him.
