A ship carrying food and other items left Cyprus, an island nation in the Mediterranean, on the 30th in order to support the Gaza Strip. The sea transport is being carried out by the American NGO "World Central Kitchen" with support from Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced on social media that 10 trucks had delivered food to northern Gaza City. US media reported that the Biden administration had approved the sale of fighter jets and other weapons to Israel.
