Eight people have died as a result of the operation at a hospital in Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. Approximately 200 patients are believed to have been left behind, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) Health authorities are calling for patients to be transferred as soon as possible.

The Israeli military launched an operation on the 15th of this month, claiming that Hamas fighters were active at Nasser Hospital. The situation is believed to continue to be critical, with the possibility of death.
