Ukraine is focusing on improving its relationship with Hungary and whether it will be able to attract large amounts of aid from the EU. The EU was unable to reach an agreement on financial aid to Ukraine worth 50 billion euros over four years, or about 8 trillion yen in Japanese yen, due to opposition from Hungary. The two countries agreed to aim for a summit meeting to improve relations.
