Foshan, the third largest economic and manufacturing city in Guangdong, held a city-wide high-quality development conference. Foshan proposes to use seven years (to 2030) to promote the city's total industrial output value to jump from three to four to 4 trillion yuan.
Only three cities in China, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Suzhou, have a totalindustrial output value exceeding 3 trillion yuan, according to a report by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CAS)
