The United Nations on Tuesday released a report on the use of plastic in which the international organization says the world must halve single-use plastics. The roadmap, entitled "Turn off the tap", is published by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Two weeks before the second stage in Paris of negotiations that are due to lead to a legally binding international treaty by the end of 2024.
