50 years after the release of "The Exorcist" that terrified an entire generation, it was decided to remake the horror trilogy. Production companies Universal Pictures and Bloomhouse Productions have announced a $400 million budget for filming to celebrate half a century of the scaretering work of all time.
The first part of the series will be released on October 13, with the first part bearing the name "TheExorcist: Believer" It remains to be seen whether the next trilogy will be a reproduction of the old series but with a contemporary treatment, or whether events will be completed after the first series.
