For the past month, they have been training at the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne. This intensive preparation will last a year and will allow them to be assigned a first mission to the International Space Station within a few years. The first mission will be for five astronauts in 2022, each of us will have an opportunity before 2030 to make a six-month flight.
