At the 2021 Fujian-Taiwan Art Youth Concert held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province on the evening of the 18th, young musicians from both sides of the Taiwan Strait used music to communicate their home and country feelings in the "cross-strait story".

As a sub-event of the 8th Fujian Art Festival, excellent orchestras from Fujian and Taiwan were invited to perform together on the same stage, including Taiwan Youqiao Cross-Strait Chamber Orchestra, Taiwan Band Just Band, Taiwan Yunxiang Art Orchestra and Fujian Vocational College Zheng Orchestra, Fujian Minhou Green Olive Chorus, well-known mainland baritone singer Sun Lei, etc.

Taiwanese singer Tang Youlin opened with a song "The Cloud of Hometown".
After "landing" for 7 years, he has become a new Fuzhou native and also a "ferryman", inviting many high-quality Taiwanese musicians to cross the sea.
"Taiwan young people still have to visit the mainland. There are many opportunities here, so they can put their talents to good use," he said.

"Music is a soft platform for cross-strait exchanges." Wu Jiaqi expects that after the epidemic, concerts will not be held only once, but will become more and more abundant. "Finally, it will be a cross-strait music carnival with many music programs."
Li Ling, deputy director of the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, said that Fujian and Taiwan are separated by a water, with the same roots and the same ancestry. The national sentiments and regional characteristics are blended in music to meet friends and convey emotions. Compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait are more likely to communicate with each other.
