Last year, when he barely managed to win an Olympic ticket, Woo Sang-hyuk surpassed his imagination by using Tokyo as a stepping stone.

He was only ranked 30th in the world at the time, but with overwhelming showmanship, he set a new Korean record in 24 years and finished 4th.

He had no regrets even though he missed the medal by 2 cm.

really.

If you enjoy it at such a grand festival, you will do better, if you don't, you will have no regrets.]

This year, Woo Sang-hyuk is on a steeper upward trend.

He broke the Korean record again by crossing 2m 36 in the Czech Republic last February, and in the event held ten days later, he surpassed 2m 35 with plenty of time to take the top spot for the second time in a row.

Woo Sang-hyuk is the only athlete in the world who surpassed 2m 35 this year.

Woo Sang-hyuk, who climbed the world ranking to 7th place, is looking forward to the first medal as a Korean athlete as well as a gold medal at the World Indoor Championships this weekend.

The World Athletics Federation also selected Woo Sang-hyeok as a stronger candidate than Tambury, the 'World No. 1'.

Now, the competitors greet first, and the audience gives a standing ovation.
